BHS Parents' Association

Welcome to all new and returning high school parents. We are looking forward to a new year at BHS. We invite you to join the Barrington High School Parents' Association which normally meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM in the library. The schedule of all meetings and speakers is included in the calendar below. Meetings are always open to everyone. We hope you will join us. It is an opportunity for you to become informed about activities, events, issues, programs and policies at the high school that can impact your child's education or experiences at BHS. You will also hear from our principal, Joe Hurley, and meet with and share thoughts and ideas with other parents. You can also review additional information about the Parents Assocation under the Documents list below.

The Association does not have any fundraisers. Our only source of income is membership dues. In the past, our funds have supported much needed gifts to the school, graduation activities, the School Directory, a New Parent/New Staff reception, refreshments at Open House, a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast and support for the Senior After Prom. We encourage you to become a part of the Association! Park outside the library where there is a direct entrance.

Because the Highlights is no longer mailed to homes due to rising printing and postage costs, the Parents Assoc. has created a group email list to send the newsletter electronically to interested people. If you would like to receive the Highlights by email, please send a request to bhspa@bpsmail.org. Please include your full name in the subject line.
