Mask and Safety Guidance for EOY School Events:

  • Per the Governor’s Office, masking is still required indoors at schools.

Per RIDOH:

  • Students in the K-5 are not eligible for the vaccine and we need to continue to protect them from exposure to COVID 19.

  • Students remain in their stable pods of 26 children or less.

  • Masks can be removed out of doors if we maintain 3 feet spacing requirements.

  • 6 feet spacing requirements must be maintained between stable pods.

  • Week of June 21st-Grade level field day events from 8:30-9:30 AM.

    • Monday-Grade 1

    • Tuesday-Grade 2

    • Wednesday-Grade 3

    • Thursday-Kindergarten

Field Day Health and Safety Updates:

  • SUN PROTECTION:

    • Apply sunblock on students at home in the morning before school, especially on field day. In addition to recess and PE, many classes are choosing to spend time in the outdoor classrooms. Kids can also wear hats or sunglasses if needed.

  • STAY HYDRATED:

    • Remember to send in a clean water bottle each day.

  • EXTRA FACE MASKS:

    • Sweaty kids + pollen = soiled face masks! We are quickly using our supply of kid-sized disposable face masks. Please pack plenty of extras in your child's backpack for frequent mask changes.

Report Card Schedule

  • Posted on Friday, June 25th

How do parents see the progress reports?

  • Once they are "published" to aspen an email is sent to the parent letting them know they are available to view/save/print from aspen.

  • Parents need to know their username and password to aspen in order to  open the progress report.

  • Please remind parents if they do not know their username/password to  email x2help@barringtonschools.org asap.

  • The Technology Dept. gets TONS of password resets after progress reports are sent and it takes days to resolve.

  • If you know you do not know the information above, reach out to the email now to get this information to see your child’s report card.  This is not handled at the school level.  Thank you.
