Barrington Education Foundation: Is there a faculty or staff member that you want to thank this year? You can all the while helping out the Barrington Education Foundation. The BEF is currently running their STAR program. More information about this may be found here.
Octoberfest Subcommittee Opportunities: Octoberfest 2025 will take place on 10/18/2025. There are many opportunities to get involved with Octoberfest through the leadership of an important subcommittee. Please review the subcommittee list and sign up - we'd love to have you on board to help bring this great event to life!

Town Meeting: We have a Town Meeting scheduled for Monday afternoon at 1:45 hosted by Mrs. Adamson’s class. If you are dismissing your child from Town Meeting, you MUST send a note that morning. Your child will then be dismissed as a “walker” and you can meet them outside in the back of the building. If we do not receive a note that morning, your child will be sent home their normal Monday way. There will not be exceptions to this; dismissal gets too busy in the office and classrooms to make these late changes.
PTO Meeting: The final PTO meeting of this year will be held Monday, June 9, 2025, at 7:00 PM. The meeting will take place at Sowams.
Outdoor Day: Our annual outdoor day is coming up on June 16, 2025. More information will be sent out at a later day. However, volunteers are needed on the day of the event. If you have a background check on file with the district and are able to volunteer, you may sign up at this link.
Concert: Our K-2 students will be performing for our school and parents/guardians on June 10, 2025, at 1:30. You are welcome to join us out in front of the school to hear each grade levels’ singing expertise. More information may be found here. Third grade parents/guardians, you are welcome to attend but your children will be performing at the Third Grade Reception on June 17,2025.
Volunteers and Food Donations for Third Grade Reception: We have a special evening planned for our graduating 3rd graders and need your help with the final details! Please consider signing up to volunteer on the day of the reception or to donate a refreshment. Refreshments can be delivered to Sowams during school hours the day before and the day of the reception. We need volunteers to help set up or break down on the day and to organize the refreshments during the reception. We generally ask parents of younger students to take on refreshment service so that 3rd grade parents can enjoy the reception. If you are able, please sign up here
Lost and Found: We have a lot of items in the lost and found. Please make sure you have your child check it if you think they have lost something. At the end of the school year, any remaining clothing items will be donated and other items will be thrown away..
