Caroline Friedman was a proud member of the Barrington Public Schools community for all of her schooling, having attended preschool through high school at BPS as well as two years in the Barrington Transition Academy. She lived life to the fullest and brought joy to everyone who knew her. Caroline was a true warrior and gift to her family, friends, teachers, peers, and our Barrington Public Schools and Barrington High School communities.
Education and school life were incredibly important to Caroline and, to honor her memory, the Friedman family has established the Caroline Friedman Scholarship Foundation.
The first annual "Cruisin' for Caroline" Walk will be held on Monday, June 2, to celebrate Caroline's life and keep her spirit alive. This will be a district-wide event, with each school walking together in Caroline's honor. Please join the Friedman family and our BPS community in celebrating Caroline's legacy by Cruisin' for Caroline: https://gofan.co/event/3626068?schoolId=RI22197
We will always remember Caroline's love for ice cream, lobster rolls, and music. She had a passion for sushi, creating the perfect charcuterie board, planning parties and trips, and playing Unified Basketball where she earned the nickname "Can't Miss Caroline". She was a shining star and the ultimate memory-maker.
